Could you remember an incident that occurred in a school, where a teacher punished
a child for a day to stand her still in the sun light by carrying a chain of bricks?
Then what did happen to her? Yes we know that she fell unconscious and died.
This is the real time for us to think and act accordingly to cater the needs of
the child. A child indeed in need of the recognition that he/she is an individual
with a grown up persona.
Are we ready for this?
As any other living being, a child has to expose to a climate to breed the potentials
at the maximum. Are we ready to face this challenge?

days upper class boys began to be schooled. The moralist of 16th to 17th century
saw children as bad and education (discipline and training) was meant to make them
good.
But the romantics like Rousseau and Goethe (18th century) , on the other hand ,
regarded children as inherently good . For this reason they thought children had
to be protected against culture......
